Triaxial Composite Geonet Drain

Zhonglong Triaxial Composite Geonet Drain is a geosynthetic product made by bonding a geonet drain core to one or two layers of geotextile using a thermal bonding process. The core is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) used to collect and convey water or gas. The geotextile layers act as filter, keeping small particles out of the drainage channels while allowing water to pass through.

Composite geonet drain can replace gravel or sand drainage layers (approximate 1m thick) and be used for landfill leachate collection, roadway subgrade drainage, retaining wall drainage, tunnel waterproofing and green roof systems.

Characteristics of Product

Advanced Structure
Triaxial ribs enhance durability. It can endure high tensile strength, able to withstand high-pressure loads for a long time (able to withstand compression loads greater than 3000 kPa). It has great chemical resistance, long service life, lower cost and convenient construction.

Efficient Water Management
Inclined ribs on the top and bottom of geonet drain improve water transmissivity. It make the geonet can rapidly drain underground water, block capillary water under high construction loads and maintain optimal thickness for enhanced water conductivity. These deliver strong drainage capacity (equivalent to 1 m thick gravel drainage), effectively replacing traditional sand and gravel systems.

Comprehensive Performance
Geocomposite drain has functions of filtration, drainage, ventilation and protection. And it provides isolation for foundations and reinforces structural integrity, which reduce the probability of geotextile embedding and maintain long-term stable water transmissivity.
