Step One: Seal to simulate real conditions

At the testing site, our technicians are fully focused on sealing the edges of the laid geomembrane. Every weld and every connection point must be ensured. This is the foundation of the defense. Sealing is not just a technical operation, but also the "gatekeeper" for subsequent steps. Only if geomembrane does not leak, the pressurization be meaningful.

Step Two: Pressurize to eliminate potential hazards

After the sealing is completed, the testing enters the "pressurization" phase. Through a specialized control system, preset air pressure is applied to the geomembrane body to simulate the actual stress environment during landfill operation. However, the pressure is not randomly applied—it is gradually increased according to specified parameters. The purpose is to “rehearse" the real-world usage scenario in advance. Hidden flaws in the seams will be revealed under this air pressure test. Through the pressure gauge, our technicians can determine if there was an air leakage on geomembrane.

Step Three: Record readings to evaluate performance

According the record, our technicians are able to calculate an approximate performance data and determine whether the geomembrane passes or not.
